Logistics Systems Incorporated (LSI) is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Todd Schmidt as Vice President of Army Accounts. A retired U.S. Army Colonel with nearly 30 years of senior leadership across joint operations, missile defense, and strategic policy, Dr. Schmidt brings a powerful combination of operational depth and national security insight to LSI’s executive team.

He most recently served as CEO of Army University Press and was handpicked by the Army Chief of Staff to lead the Harding Project—an initiative revitalizing professional discourse across the force. His past assignments include key roles within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, U.S. Strategic Command, and U.S. Central Command, as well as command of U.S. Patriot Missile Forces in Kuwait.

“Dr. Schmidt’s depth of experience in strategic planning, space and missile defense operations, logistics, and civil–military relations is exactly what LSI needs to elevate our support to Army customers,” said Matt Collins, COO of LSI. “We’re excited to leverage his leadership as we continue to grow and deliver mission-focused solutions.”

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Schmidt as he helps guide LSI’s next chapter of innovation and Army support.
