Logistics Systems Inc. (LSI) is proud to announce its September 2024 contract award under the GSA VETS2 Schedule in support of the IRS User and Network Services (UNS)/Enterprise Field Operations (EFO). This contract task order will provide deskside and remote technical services to support the refresh of more than 19,000 aging IRS workstations across 450+ locations nationwide, ensuring secure, modern, and efficient operations.
The scope of work includes end-user hardware deployment, ServiceNow ticket resolution, customer support, data backup, and asset inventory—all contributing to the IRS’s ongoing IT modernization and continuity of services nationwide. “We are honored to support the IRS on this important modernization initiative, furthermore, it reflects LSI’s deep expertise in enterprise field operations, and our ability to deliver secure, responsive adn scalable IT support across diverse federal environments” said Matt Collins, President of Logistics Systems Inc.
LSI, a mission-driven small business specializing in IT services, logistics, and federal enterprise solutions, will serve as the prime contractor on this Firm Fixed Price contract with a performance period through March 2026.
The company’s role is critical in ensuring that IRS staff experience minimal disruption during the transition to Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments, backed by real-time customer service, inventory control, and mission-driven execution.
