Lawrence Wilkerson
Lawrence WilkersonPresident and Chief Executive Officer
Lawrence Wilkerson has led LSI since 2002 when he established the company. Mr. Wilkerson is a retired Army Officer, with over 30 years experience in logistics support, planning, and business process re-engineering. He also commanded the U.S. Support Battalion in Sinai, Egypt, and served as Chief of the National Operations Center for the implementation of the Army Single Stock Fund software enterprise integration systems.
Mr. Wilkerson earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, and holds a graduate degree from the Florida Institute of Technology in Logistics Management. He has also completed numerous courses, including those at the Command and General Staff College and the Logistics Executive Development Course.

Jose Mena, a distinguished leader, brings a wealth of experience in IT service delivery to the LSI Leadership Team after serving as the Director of Infrastructure and Operations for the National Archives and Records Administration.
With over 30 years of extensive experience in IT outsourcing and service delivery, Jose's professional journey originated in the demanding Engineering Systems Development program at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he contributed significantly to support General Motors.
With a robust foundation in IT, Jose has excelled in various roles, notably as a Client Delivery Executive and Senior Program Manager. His expertise centers on fostering service delivery excellence, proactive IT systems management, and elevating customer satisfaction. Over the past 15 years, he has notably contributed to various agencies of the Federal Government in key senior IT End User and Infrastructure Service Delivery positions.
Some notable highlights from his career supporting the Federal Government include his leadership role in the DOJ Bureau of Alcohol, Tabaco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) ESAIII program, overseeing a $300M program responsible for all-encompassing IT Service Delivery for ATF. This involved managing a substantial infrastructure comprising servers, databases, switches, and an extensive Enterprise Help Desk, supporting 7,500 users across 250 domestic and international sites.
Furthermore, Jose led the successful transition of the DHS USCIS NATIONS Program, a $100M+ initiative, ensuring seamless end user support services for over 25,000 users across diverse locations.
At the Securities and Exchange Commission, he directed Infrastructure Engineering and Operations, steering a $250M IT Infrastructure Support Services program for 7,000 users nationwide, underscoring his adeptness in managing large-scale IT infrastructures.
Jose's proficiency further extended to overseeing the Department of Transportation's End User and IT Infrastructure Support Services, playing a pivotal role in managing service delivery across non-FAA operating administrations. His stewardship encompassed thousands of users across 250 locations nationwide and extensive server and network nodes within multiple data centers and cloud platforms.
Notably, he spearheaded the consolidation and integration of shadow IT services from 11 Operating Administrations into the Office of the CIO's IT Shared Services at the Department of Transportation, showcasing his acumen in streamlining and optimizing IT processes.

Peter Jacobs has more than 25 years experience in managing accounting and financial operations for Federal and commercial contracts. He has extensive experience in preparing financial reports, and in managing tax compliance, annual financial audits, and DCAA audits.
Mr. Jacobs brings a wealth of knowledge in accounting policies, procedures for budgeting payroll, human resources functions, as well as extensive experience with Deltek accounting and program management software. As LSI's Controller, he is responsible for directing all LSI accounting and financial reporting functions.
Mr. Jacobs received his CPA certification in 1992, and he holds an MBA in Finance and Investments, and a Master in Accountancy from The George
Washington University.
Kevin Schmitt

Kevin Schmitt has 20+ years of experience in Department of Defense, Homeland Security and commercial related operations, acquisition, technology, and strategic planning projects. A former Naval Supply Corps Officer, he has held operational and management positions at multiple government contracting organizations with expertise in performance management, information technology, strategic planning, acquisition and logistics.
Kevin Schmitt's efforts have helped Federal leaders to define, formulate, and implement change initiatives at the division and department level. He received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
