Logistics Systems Incorporated (LSI) Awarded Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Field Activity Support Services Contract

August 1, 2012 – Logistics Systems Incorporated (LSI) announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to provide Field Activity Support Services for sustainment and operation of its properties, facilities and infrastructure at major Field Activities in the National Capital Region and Huntsville, Alabama. The MDA selected LSI, along with its subcontractor Tetra Tech, to provide an array of facility, building and operational support, repair, relocation and maintenance and management services. LSI’s logistics team delivers an array of building sustainment and operation services to include warehouse operations support, protecting the physical and functional integrity of each facility, promoting personal safety and providing facility up-keep services, performing facility/material inspections, and managing and maintaining warranty data for all MDA building materials. LSI President and CEO Lawrence Wilkerson said, “We are extremely gratified by the confidence placed in the LSI team by the Missile Defense Agency.  We look forward to providing the services for many years to come.”
