Logistics Systems Incorporated (LSI) Expands its Senior Management Team
February 1, 2012 – Logistics Systems Incorporated (LSI) announced that it has recently completed a significant expansion of its senior management team by its hiring of retired US Army Colonels Martin Pitts and EW “Chip” Lilliewood, Jr. The addition of these two executives reflects LSI’s recent growth and commitment to continued expansion in its key markets. Information on Col Pitts and Col Lilliewood is provided as follows:
Mr. Martin Pitts recently joined Logistics Systems Incorporated as Vice President of the Logistics Division. He is a career Army logistician bringing over 30 years of experience, comprising supply, property accountability, distribution, maintenance and leadership expertise. Mr. Pitts has experience at the DoD Joint, Army, National Provider and major command level. He commanded a transportation company and a main support battalion. He successfully led his sustainment brigade on a 15 month combat tour in Iraq. He was also the logistics focal point for the 1st Infantry Division serving as the HQDA G4 - Forward in the Balkans. Mr. Pitts has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from McDaniel College and holds Master’s Degrees in Public Administration from Central Michigan University and Strategic Studies from the Army War College.
Mr. EW “Chip” Lilliewood, Jr. having recently joined Logistics Systems, Incorporated is now Vice President of LSI’s newly created Science and Technology Division. There he will oversee LSI’s expanding Science, Engineering and Technology efforts. Chip brings over 25 years of unparalleled military operations and logistics experience as well as on the ground experience in the Far East, Southwest Asia, Europe and official Washington. As a career Army logistician, Chip has commanded at all levels. He has done extensive collaboration with NATO, Defense Logistics Agency, Army Acquisition Agencies, DoD and Services Test and Evaluation Agencies as well as Operational Commands. He was Director of the Army Evaluation Center’s largest directorate and commanded the Army Test and Evaluation Command’s joint T&E efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq. He culminated his career as an Army Colonel with his final Army assignment as the Director, National Capital Region Operations, Army Test and Evaluation Command. A 1986 graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, Mr. Lilliewood also hold Master’s Degrees in Logistics Management and Acquisition Management from the Florida Institute of Technology as well as a Master’s Degree in Military Operational Art and Science from the Air University.
